Thanks Nyack for a great year--we are moving on!

A Space for Fine Woodworking, Art, and Creative Collaboration

256 Main Street, Nyack, New York

Between Midland and 9W    (plenty of parking in the surrounding streets)

"Rock stars, CEOs, and toddlers have a lot in common," says Chris Carroll, who has shot many of each during his 20-year career. "They all have high needs and a short attention span." Iggy Pop needed his special hair gel, Jeff Bezos needed to take a satellite call, and baby Shaniqua needed to be changed. Chris started fast, shooting celebrity editorial for the likes of SPIN, Rolling Stone, Esquire, and GQ while still in his twenties. He went on to work for numerous national magazines and advertising clients, and continues to hone his wryly observed style of portraiture. The shift to digital has meant that Chris has the darkroom of his dreams right there in the Mac on his desk.

Jordan Pepper Red Sky

Jordan Pepper - oil painter

Jordan Pepper is an avid art collector who gains inspiration for his own artwork from the early American Impressionists.

This style has always been revered by Jordan, because of its connection to the great outdoors. Having drawn in his early years, he has finally come back to producing his own oil on canvas work in 2004.

For the past three years he has studied with renowned plein air artist Joan Hoffmann.
He spends as much of his free time backpacking and skiing, and uses these experiences to paint landscapes from photographs he has taken, as well as painting on site.
From the Sierras to the Tetons, down the Grand Canyon to the farmlands of Sonoma County, Jordan strives to put these locations on canvas.  S. Jordan Pepper - The artist
